Two-factor authentication (2FA) — turn it on from your profile's Security tab for extra login protection
Deleting your data now actually deletes it — reviews get anonymized and your taste profile cleared, not just hidden
New accounts get a friendly heads-up if their chosen username isn't appropriate, instead of a silent rejection

Fixed

Submitting a review while a photo is still uploading no longer lets the review through without the photo
A deactivated account no longer reactivates itself just by loading a page — reactivation now only happens when you actually log back in
Marvin no longer occasionally goes silent instead of replying
The news feed loads correctly and faster
Various dead links on our policy pages cleaned up

A whole new beer style encyclopedia at /lore/styles — browse styles and what makes them tick

Fixed

Logging in with Google/Facebook is more reliable, and the splash screen no longer gets stuck if you switch away from the app and back
Your taste profile is used correctly for recommendations again (it was quietly not applying for signed-in users)
The "unsubscribe" link in beta-tester emails no longer claims it worked when it couldn't actually opt you out
Cookie preference buttons that silently did nothing now work
The "View Brewery" link on a beer page no longer 404s when a brewery record changed
Chat no longer randomly jumps down to the footer after you send a message
Various dead links and broken redirects cleaned up

First dated release since we started tracking versions. Here's everything that shipped:

New

Marvin can now look things up while you chat — ask about a specific beer or search the catalog and it'll pull live results instead of answering from memory alone
Style and ABV range filters in beer search
Beers get enriched with fresh data (ABV, IBU, description, brewery/style info) automatically the moment you view one that's missing it
Added a way to add and verify an email address from your profile, for accounts that don't have one yet
Bug reports now capture when something happened and what device you're on, so we can act on them faster
Pub info now refreshes automatically on a weekly schedule

Fixed

Marvin's replies now format properly and it'll ask for clarification instead of guessing on vague questions
Beer details (ABV/IBU/description) no longer disappear if you reload right after they'd just been filled in
Various polish on the add-email and bug-report flows

Security

Fixed pub photos leaking our Google Maps API key through their URLs — photos now route through our own servers instead
